Stocksy United is looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer
to join our growing IT team.

This position offers a great opportunity to be part of an incredible team of industry leaders in stock photography and videography. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will be responsible for contributing to the technology team’s initiatives and maintaining Stocksy’s existing application.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Motivated to produce well-written code and creative solutions to complex problems.
Excellent at working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Passionate about producing great user experiences.
A minimum of three years professional experience working as a developer in an agile team.
A firm understanding of MVC architecture, Object Oriented Design, and test-driven development.
Comprehensive knowledge of relational databases.
Experience using industry standard tooling and practices, git, peer review, Atlassian products (or equivalent) etc.

Amazon Web service.
Search Indexes (Solr/Elasticsearch/Lucene).
Message Brokers (Rabbit, SQS).
Video/Image processing experience.
Serverless framework experience.
Design, develop, and deploy technical solutions for Stocksy’s application.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that is unit tested and implemented in line with Stocksy’s best practices.
Assist in weighing which new technologies to implement and give thoughtful suggestions in architecture discussions.
Be a part of a collaborative team of developers who run regular deployments, manually test when required, and keep relevant documentation up to date.
Stay up-to-date on new products and technologies to support continual technical improvement of the Stocksy site.
Be proactive in identifying improvements surrounding team processes and work in collaboration with the team to advance measures of efficiency and overall quality of technical work.
Support your team through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
