Stocksy is looking for an Intermediate Front End Developer to
join our growing Development team.

This position offers a great opportunity to be part of an incredible team of industry leaders in technology and design. Reporting to the Director of Technology and working closely with the Director of User Experience, you will be contributing to the design and functionality of the Stocksy website.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

An excellent communicator who enjoys collaborative, team-based environments.
Someone with a knack for finding creative solutions to complex problems.
3+ years of Front End Development experience creating quality user experiences.
Front-end framework experience (Backbone/Marionette/React).
Experience with React and working with components.
Experience using CSS formatters (LESS/SASS).
Experience using industry standard tooling and practices, git, peer review, Atlassian products (or equivalent) etc.
Photo/Video processing experience.
You might also have…
Experience with designing user interfaces using prototyping software (Figma/Sketch/InVision).
Experience executing effective A/B tests.
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Translate UI design prototypes into quality code that delivers effective visual elements.
Create variants for executing A/B and beta tests.
Contribute to our culture of continual learning and professional development.
Optimise page rendering for multiple devices, ratios, and connection speeds.
Implement effective strategies for managing front-end resources (HTML, CSS).
Participate in and contribute to development team practices such as peer review, pair-programming, and test-driven development.
Break out of the status quo and focus on adaptation and agile values and principles.
