                       Stocksy United is looking for a Finance Assistant to join
                                            our growing Finance team.

Your Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Financial Operations Lead, the Finance Assistant plays an integral role in maintaining the smooth operation of our financial systems in support of our co-operative.

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week

You are:

  • Highly organized and adaptable
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Able to excel when working in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment
  • Detail-oriented and possess a strong understanding of analytics and reporting

You have:

  • Diploma or higher in a related discipline (i.e. business, finance, economics, management) or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years in a finance role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Comfortable with MS Excel and other financial tools (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
  • Familiarity with accounting software and payment gateways (e.g. Quickbooks, Paypal, Payoneer etc.)


  • Assist with year end taxes and annual audits
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage and process invoices
  • Support the finance team with day-to-day processes including recording expenses and receipts
  • Process tax payments
  • Assist with client requests
  • Contribute to evolving the organization’s financial systems and processes 
  • Provide internal finance support to other departments
  • Assist with other special projects and finance tasks as required
